About Sherrie Triest
Sherrie Triest is a versatile artist whose work spans acrylic paintings of florals, abstracts, and landscapes, as well as photo paintings that celebrate the diversity of the natural world. Her artistic journey began with photography while hiking in the parks, mountains, and gardens of the Pacific Northwest, and she was inspired to transform some of her photographs into unique works of art using her computer. Her photo paintings are rich and layered images, some reminiscent of an impressionist style with an "old world" feel, while others are abstract with bright primary colors.
