Sherrie Triest While hiking in the parks, mountains, and gardens of the Pacific Northwest I discovered photography. I transform my photographs into unique works of art using my computer. My photo paintings are rich and layered images celebrating the diversity of the natural world. I alter them to create a mystery and extend an invitation to the viewer to finish the path or complete the picture in their mind. The computer allows me to paint in any medium from watercolor, pastel, oil, pen, chalk, to airbrush, colored pencil, or acrylic, etc. The finished photo painting looks as if I've painted a picture on a canvas.
